The strength of any company resides in its principals, their experience and leadership abilities. Listed below are brief descriptions of the qualifications of our executive team.

William Sutton, Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Sutton's responsibilities include the growth and development of the company, as well as maintaining a working relationship between Progressive Community Management, Inc. (PCM) and the associations they represent.  He is responsible for active marketing efforts for the company.  Mr. Sutton was president and owner of a successful property management company for five years, which then merged with PCM.  Mr. Sutton's experience as a successful business owner adds a unique perspective and ability to understand a property's needs. His first-hand knowledge has given him excellent insight in dealing with association boards and their responsibilities.  Mr. Sutton carries the LCAM - the Florida Community Association Manager license.  As the CEO of Progressive Community Management, Inc., Mr. Sutton is active in the day to day operations overseeing the association managers and their relationships with their respective boards of directors.  Mr. Sutton also acts as association liaison with various legal counsels and is active in the understanding of associations that have been placed into receivership. Mr. Sutton is currently working with different banks to help ensure the bank's posture while managing the associations that have entered into foreclosure status.  Mr. Sutton is President of the West Florida Chapter of Community Association Institute (CAI) and was the host of "Community Living" on Blab TV, a public information channel on Comcast Television in Sarasota.

Jim C. Markel, CMCA, AMS, PCAM: Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Markel's responsibilities include oversight of all the physical and administrative operations of properties managed by Progressive Community Management, Inc.(PCM).  Prior to joining PCM Mr. Markel was the Association Division Manager for Meyer Real Estate Services in Gulf Shores, Alabama, located approximately 25 miles from Pensacola, Florida. Mr. Markel was responsible for department oversight of a mixed portfolio of approximately 30 condominium and homeowner associations. Mr. Markel, a Professional Community Association Manager holds the Certified Property Manager designation awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Association Management Specialist (AMS) designated by CAI. Additionally he is a Certified Manager of Community Associations, having been certified several years ago by the National Board of Certification - Community Associations Institute. He has been actively involved in the management of real property for the past 20 years. Mr. Markel also carries the LCAM - the Florida Community Association Manager license. In addition to his professional designations and certifications, he is actively involved on a national level with Community Associations Institute presently sitting as a committee member on the Government and Public Affairs Committee and the Membership/Chapter Advisory Committee working for the enhancement and continued professionalism of the industry. Mr. Markel was actively involved in civic affairs and improvements in his former hometown and is working to become engaged in that same process in the Sarasota area.
